Half Hourly (HH) Meters
This is a device which is attached to an energy supply point and is used to collect and communicate meter readings in half hour chunks. This information is then sent to the data collector who in turn uses it to calculate the total consumption of that site. This method is more accurate than the traditional ad-hoc meter readings or profile classification method as it is highly reflective of actual consumption. Organisations that have a Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) that starts with 05, 06, 07, 08 or 00 should have a Half Hourly meter.
Half Hourly Data (HHD)
This is the term given to the data that is sent from a half hourly meter (HH). The name reflects the fact that data is sent in 30 minute chunks.
High Voltage (HV)
High Voltage (11,000 Volts or above).
