CRC Service & Support
You have until the end of September to meet your CRC commitments.
The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (widely known as the Carbon Reduction Commitment) is the UK’s mandatory CO2 emissions trading scheme. The scheme started in April 2010 and is administered by the Environment Agency. It is central to the UK’s strategy for improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, as set out in the Climate Change Act 2008. If you have at least one half-hourly electricity meter in your business and regardless of premises, then you have to register, either as an Information Discloser or as a Participant by the end of September 2010.
So don’t panic. Take the easy option. Ensure your registration is completed and avoid the on-going potential penalties which could be as much as £500 a working day for being late.
That could mean in a worse case fine of over £112,000*!
From as little as £450 you can have all your submissions requirements managed - through a fully managed service provided by esave – CRC Registration Pack.
We can also offer an additional support service, the CRC Management Service. This includes the completion of your footprint and annual reports. It also includes the maintenance of your evidence folder is handled, the tracking of your monthly emissions, energy reduction programmes and CO2 trading allowance.
No fuss. No worries. Deadlines met. All for £450. Click on the link CRC_Registration_Pack_WS.pdf to download our CRC Commitments booklet.
Remember, the CRC is a mandatory energy efficiency scheme aimed at improving energy efficiency and cutting emissions in large public and private sector organisations.
